Those individuals in attendance were:

Everett C. Burns, Donna Little, Gina Bradley, Chris Logsdon, Kerry Murphy, Eleanore Shaffer, Bill Youngs

1. Committee would like to see goals that are implemented become on-going
2. Some of our practices must be expanded
3. It was recommended that law enforcement be encouraged to make a stronger presence at school
4. Is it possible to get a security guard in?
5. Morville Agency is willing to come to the school free of charge (covered under our policy to educate staff with playground equipment.
6. Should fencing be installed around playground and other areas to deter intruders, animals etc. looking for parent volunteers –extra sets of eyes

Peer –mediation

A safe haven – boxes for student messages throughout the school, students will then be able to notify staff anonymously.

Mrs. Bradley will call KRHS – ask for teens to work (Peer Counsel) as mentors or someone to talk or lean on with our students.

Teachers can take turns to attend Summit and Keith Hawkins, – a Motivational speaker, could speak to kids during day and parents at night.

Already have TLC & Pilot groups as prevention for younger students

Perhaps PTA could communicate important details of all the current practices in place since school newsletter sent out weekly is not read.
